This policy explains how Fuitos handles account details, marketplace activity, permissions, security, and data requests.

We collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, profile photo, delivery addresses, and seller profile information you choose to provide.
We process listings, product photos, reviews, chats, files, voice notes, orders, purchase history, payment references, seller bank-account details, wallet transactions, withdrawal requests, reports, device push tokens, app-platform details, notification diagnostics, and support messages so the marketplace can operate safely.
We process data to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate marketplace and security interests, and act on consent where consent is required. Uses include account security, orders, payouts, notifications, support, fraud detection, moderation, service reliability, and enforcing marketplace rules.
We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only as necessary with the buyer or seller involved in a transaction and with providers such as Paystack for payments and payouts, Cloudflare R2 for uploaded media, Expo and Firebase for push notifications, Resend and configured SMS providers for account communications, and hosting, support, analytics, and delivery providers used to operate Fuitos. These providers must protect the data and use it only for the contracted purpose.
Camera, photo library, microphone, and notification permissions are optional and are used only for listing photos, profile images, chat attachments, voice notes, and account or marketplace alerts.
Where the website or web version of the service uses cookies or similar technologies, they may help identify your browser, remember preferences or login state, improve functionality, and support analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.
Some service providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, Fuitos requires an appropriate legal transfer basis and safeguards designed to provide an adequate level of protection.
Profile and active marketplace data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized. Limited order, payment, payout, moderation, dispute, security, accounting, and fraud-prevention records are retained only for the applicable legal or operational period and are then removed or anonymized.
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and review of qualifying automated decisions. You may delete your account in Account settings or visit https://fuitos.com.ng/account-deletion without reinstalling the app. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Fuitos is not directed to children. Users must be at least 18 or otherwise legally able to enter a binding agreement. We do not knowingly permit children to use seller payout or bank-account features.
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your personal data, including authenticated API access, rate limits, and restricted handling of uploaded media and payment records.
